Selected slices showing increased FDG uptake within the primary lesion in the right nasal cavity, partly eroding the nasal septum and infiltrating the left cavity.

Case Notes

Sinonasal melanoma is an rare tumor with a poor prognosis and high rates of recurrence and distant metastasis. 18F-FDG PET/CT is the adequate staging and restaging imaging modality to evaluate the expansion of the primary tumor, locoregional disease and distant metastases.
