Case Notes
Rheumatoid pulmonary nodules are rarely seen in patients with rheumatoid arthritis (~1%). They are characteristically:
- Localized in peripheral/subpleural regions
- Mostly smaller than 1 cm
- May be single or multiple
- May include cavitation
- Mostly FDG avid
