Selected slices showing a soft-tissue mass filling the aortacaval space, measuring 50x80x72 mm, with increased PSMA uptake (SUVmax: 10.72).

Case Notes

Histopathologic sampling of the lesion revealed the diagnosis of a desmoid tumor. Many tumors other than prostate carcinoma may demonstrate increased PSMA uptake, either due to increased blood flow or PSMA expression.
